Cindy Hanke – Lead Support & Service Representative | Client Relationship Manager
Cindy Hanke brings decades of experience, dedication, and a relationship-first mindset to her role as Client Relationship Manager. She began her career in the financial industry in 1988 and has grown alongside it, developing a deep understanding of banking, investments, and retirement planning. Cindy has held Series 7 and Series 66 licenses for over 19 years, reflecting her long-standing commitment to professionalism and industry expertise.
In her current role, Cindy goes far beyond client relationship management. She plays a key role in overseeing office and administrative functions, while carefully monitoring compliance and maintaining accurate records. Known for her strong communication skills and “get it done” attitude, Cindy is often the one making sure everything runs smoothly—sometimes before anyone even realizes it needs attention.
Prior to joining Steve’s team in 2019, Cindy spent more than a decade with a prominent private-sector retirement plan provider. During that time, she discovered a deep passion for helping people understand not only the importance of planning for retirement, but how to do it with confidence. Guiding others toward financial clarity and preparedness became a driving force in her career and continues to shape the way she works with clients today.
Cindy’s values are rooted in her background—raised in a military family and later marrying into the military, she developed a deep appreciation for discipline, service, and resilience (along with a natural ability to stay organized under just about any circumstance).
She is a proud mother of two grown daughters and grandmother to five, and treasures time spent with family and friends. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys reading, traveling to sunny destinations, and making the most of every moment away—preferably somewhere warm.
She is also a passionate supporter of charitable causes, especially St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, reflecting her strong commitment to giving back.
