Steven M. Goldberg

As the founder of Capital Wealth Management, LLC, Steve is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals with personalized strategies and comprehensive wealth management. Steve has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry.

From 1991 to 2018, Steve served as a Financial Advisor and Senior Vice President with SunTrust Investment Services, where he personally acquired and managed a client base of over 2,000 individuals from referrals, including families, and business owners and executives. During most of his tenure, he was the top-producing Financial Advisor out of over 600 advisors nationwide. His success was driven by his commitment to taking the time to understand his clients' needs and continuously learning new solutions to provide them with the best financial strategies.

He’s proud to have maintained strong, long-term relationships with many of his clients, and was grateful that so many of them and their families chose to follow him when he partnered with Osaic Wealth.

Steve holds multiple FINRA registrations, including Series 26, Series 7, Series 65, Series 63, and Series 6, as well as licenses in Health and Life Insurance. Steve is also a registered representative with Osaic Wealth.

An active leader in the financial community, Steve has been a member of the Lincoln Financial Chairman’s Council from 2019 to 2023* and is a proud member of The Resource Group (TRG). TRG recognizes the top financial planners based on their outstanding performance and commitment to excellence.

In addition to professional accomplishments, Steve has a deep commitment to both personal growth and giving back to the community. As a local Washingtonian, Steve graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School, attended the University of Maryland, and Salisbury University graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration. In pursuit of community engagement, Steve participated in two 330-mile bike rides to raise funds for DC Aids charities in partnership with Ferrari of DC.

A passionate advocate for education and youth development, Steve serves as the Treasurer and Board of Trustees Member for National History Day, an organization that encourages student research and history projects across the nation.

Outside of work and community involvement, Steve enjoys life in the Annapolis area, where he resides with his family and two dogs. Whether riding bikes for a cause or leading in financial planning, Steve remains committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
